- 2 pounds of tilapia, cod, or halibut (or any kind of fish fillets)
- 1 tablespoon ground garlic
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon sea salt or according to your taste
- 1 pinch of clove powder
- 2 medium-size onions cut into thin slices
- 2 tablespoon crushed tomatoes
Cut the fish filets into 2 inch pieces and place in a large bow.
Add all the spices and ground ginger and garlic into the bowl and mix gently with hands and let it marinate for 4+ hours.
