Ingredients:
- 1 and 1/2 liter of 2% milk
- 4 teaspoons of previously homemade yogurt (or as someone if they have any)
Directions:
Take 1 and 1/2 liter of milk and pour into a pot, and put it to a full boil on medium-high heat.
Once it has boiled, turn off the heat, and let it cool down until it is warm.
When it is warm, pour into a bowl (that you will be storing the yogurt in) and set the bowl aside.
Turn on the oven and put on bake at 135 degrees, once it reaches this temperature turn the oven off. Using a wooden/plastic spoon, place 2 teaspoons of plain yogurt into the bowl, and gently stir once. Then 2 teaspoons of the yogurt into the bowl in 4-5 random spots. Then cover it with its lid. Place the bowl in the warm oven for 2-3 hours until it has changed into a yogurt.
After 2-3 hours, tilt the bowl a little bit (do not put a spoon in it), you will know that it has become a yogurt if there is water at the top. Take out the bowl and put in the fridge for 2-3 hours.
will look like this when it has transformed into a yogourt. |
Before eating it, gently stir the yogurt once. Doing this, the water won't separate from the yogurt.
once it has settled in the fridge for 2-3 hours, you can mix it. |
after mixing.... |
