Servings: 8 people
Ingredients:
- 3 packs of frozen spinach (350 grams each)
(OR 3 bunches of fresh spinach, 350 grams each) - 350 grams paneer
- 1 small crushed onion
- 3 random sized tomatoes
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoon of ground garlic
- 2 tablespoons of ground ginger
Spices:
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 pinch clove powder
Directions:
If using fresh spinach. Wash it thoroughly and chop it.
Cut the paneer into small cube like pieces.
Crush the small onion, and peel the tomatoes and chop them.
In a non-stick pan, add in the onions, on medium heat. When the onions become translucent, add in the garlic and stir.
A minute later, add in cumin powder and stir.
After about a minute, add in the rest of the spices and tomatoes, stir everything again.
2 minutes later, add in the paneer and ground ginger. And stir. Cook this for about 5 minutes.
On the other hand, in a deep pot add in the spinach with a cup of water, and let it cook on medium-high heat. Let it cook until it has become dry. Then turn off the heat, and put the spinach in a food process and ground it (for approx. a minute).
Take out the spinach from the food processor, and put it into the pan (that has the other ingredients cooking in it). And stir.
Once you see the oil has separated itself, turn off the heat.
