Ingredients:
- 1 and 1/4 pound veal stew
- 1 medium size cauliflower
- 1 medium size onion (cut into 4 pieces)
- 6-7 garlic cloves
- 1 table spoon ground ginger
- 2 medium size tomatoes/2 table spoon crushed tomatoes
- 1/4 cup of oil
Spices:
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon ground chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 2 pinch of clove powder
Directions:
Put the meat in a medium sized pot with 2 cups of water, the onion and garlic cloves on medium heat until the meat has become tender and the water disappears.
When the meat has become tender and the water has disappeared, pour in the oil and add all the spices in to the pot with the cooked meat and stir.
After 2 minutes meat will look like this.
Then add cauliflower and stir 2 to 3 times.
Add tomatoes and ginger and stir again, in approximately 4 to 5 minutes your tomatoes will disappear.
Then pour 1/2 cup water and lower the heat and cover the pot with its lid. Let it cook for ten minutes, then take off the lid and stir gently. Then cover the pot with its lid again for 10 more minutes. Take off the lid and stir again, if you see any extra water, raise the heat and dry all the water.
Your cauliflower with veal stew dish is ready to serve! Enjoy with roti or naan, before serving you can garnish with cilantro.
