Veal Stew Curry

Ingredients:
  • 2 and 1/2 lbs. veal stew
  • 1 whole garlic (peeled)
  • 7 small tomatoes (peeled)
    OR 3-4 tablespoons crushed tomato
Spices:
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • a pinch clove powder
Garnish:
  • 1 and 1/2 tablespoon ginger (julien cut)
  • 2 and 1/2 tablespoon chopped cilantro
  • 2 green chilies chopped





Directions:

In a medium sized pot, place the meat and the whole garlic, with three cups of water. Cook on medium heat with the lid on for 1 and 1/2 hour or until the meat is tender and almost all the water has dried. 



When the water has almost dried, add in 1/3 cup oil and all the spices. And stir.


When you see that the oil has separated, then 3-4 minutes later add the tomatoes.

When the tomato has dissolved and the oil has once again separated, add in the ginger and stir once.
A minute later, turn off the heat.

Add the cilantro and green chilies.

Enjoy very tasty veal stew curry with roti or naan!
